Investing in our people
Congratulations to RH Amar Driver, Martin Beaumont,
who passed his Class 1 lorry driving test. Martin passed
all the theory and practical tests at the 昀椀rst attempt,
which is unusual and a great achievement!
Edward Taylor-Green is now a fully accredited Forklift & Pallet Lifter
Instructor. An exhaustive and comprehensive course, with nine
separate exams, Ed’s new quali昀椀cation will allow us to bring some of
our warehouse training and certi昀椀cation in-house. It will also deliver
better and more comprehensive training for our warehouse team.
Ihasco
Last year we introduced the iHasco training platform to
support colleague development. With training on Mental
Health Awareness, ED&I, Unconscious Bias, and Disability
Awareness, the platform and training courses have given
colleagues valuable knowledge and skills.
RH Amar Marks Menopause Awareness
Day & International Men’s Day
Last year we held company events to mark both Menopause Awareness Day and International Men’s
Day. Our Menopause Awareness session was hosted by the Menopause Experts Group and gave
valuable insight into understanding the menopause, tackling common misconceptions, and offering
practical tips for managing symptoms.
In November, we marked International Men’s Day with a talk by our Chairman Henry Amar, focusing
on “Positive Role Models”. It was great to hear from one of our role models about the history of our
company, some personal business insights and career advice, as well as 昀椀nd out about some of the
positive role models who have in turn in昀氀uenced him.
