Sowing sustainability seeds
As part of our work to support our local communities we partnered with Green
The UK, to deliver wild昀氀ower planting programmes at four local schools.
New DBB Community Team
We’ve created a new working group, the DBB Community Team, to look at how we can improve the impact we’re
making in our local community. Activities include building relationships with local schools, organising local
volunteering, supporting local food banks and collaborating with local businesses.
Food Donations
We continue to support our local food banks, including One Can Trust, Aylesbury Foodbank and City Harvest.
Through our surplus food donations to City Harvest they were able to donate 25,175 meals to charities feeding
their community.
Colleague charity nominations
This year we had a record number of colleague charity nominations, with 29 different organisations
put forward, ranging from small local initiatives such as The Allotment Project to large national charities
including Cancer Research UK and Diabetes UK. These organisations received a total of £165,000
in donations with many colleagues opting to personally present cheques to their chosen charities.

daughter Sophia presenting our donation to Diabetes
UK, a charity which means a great deal to Paul’s family.

Child organisation supporting children and families
living in extreme poverty in Uganda and Kenya.
